What will you do?
You will design complete lighting and safety systems for luxury superyachts. You translate customer requirements, regulations and class standards into a technically sound and feasible design. You coordinate with interior suppliers and clients to ensure the design fits perfectly within the overall yacht concept.
Your responsibilities include:

Designing and calculating systems based on client specifications and regulations

Coordinating the location and functionality of lighting and safety systems

Translating all agreements into a complete and accurate electrical drawing package

Collaborating closely with project teams, suppliers and the client
You are involved from start to finish and contribute directly to both the appearance and safety of the final result.

Who are you?
You are an experienced hardware engineer with an eye for detail as well as the bigger picture. You enjoy working in a multidisciplinary project team and take full ownership of your part of the design. You’re proactive, forward-thinking, and able to liaise easily with different stakeholders.
What you bring:

A higher professional education (HBO) degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field

Several years of experience as a hardware engineer

Experience with lighting or safety systems is a plus
-
A proactive attitude and strong communication skills
