Do you provide the technical solutions during refits on board superyachts and other complex vessels? In this role, you’ll combine office-based engineering with hands-on involvement at the yard. Together with the team, you’ll work on high-end maritime installations, maintaining regular contact with clients and classification societies.
What will you be doing?
You’ll be involved in large, complex refit projects in the maritime sector. As a Hardware Engineer, you’ll analyse technical challenges and develop appropriate electrical solutions. You’ll work both from our office in Nijmegen and on board at project sites. Your expertise ensures accurate technical designs and precise production documentation.
Your responsibilities:

Performing calculations, selecting materials, and preparing production documentation

Proactively contributing to problem-solving during project execution

Liaising with clients, classification societies, and other key stakeholders

Preparing technical reports and progress updates

You’re an independent and proactive engineer with experience in electrical systems on board ships. You think in solutions, work precisely, and enjoy a mix of office and yard-based work.
What you bring:

A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering

Several years of engineering experience in the maritime sector

Knowledge of ship systems and maritime regulations

Experience with EPLAN and AutoCAD
