At Alewijnse, you’ll take the lead in large-scale, technically challenging maritime projects. Whether it’s a complex refit of a working vessel or the new build of a luxury superyacht, you ensure everything runs according to plan. You’re a visible presence on site and work closely with supervisors and technicians to keep progress on track.
What will you be doing?
As Project Manager, you are responsible for the coordination, execution and successful delivery of complex technical projects in the maritime sector. You manage your team with a focus on results and collaboration, while maintaining strong communication with all project stakeholders.
Your key responsibilities include:

Creating and monitoring project schedules, progress and forecasts

Leading your team and fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment

Managing scope changes and making adjustments where needed

Monitoring budgets through financial analysis and reporting

Acting as the main point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders
Together with the Technical Project Manager and the Production Supervisor, you form a close-knit project leadership team, ensuring alignment, structure and successful delivery.

Who are you?
You are an experienced project leader with a technical background and a talent for managing large, long-term projects. You navigate easily between people, planning and technical challenges, communicate clearly, and are both analytical and decisive.
You bring:

A technical bachelor’s degree (BSc), preferably in Electrical Engineering or Automation

Experience in a technical project-driven environment

Familiarity with IPMA or PMI project management methodologies (level C or D)

Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English
-
Strong analytical thinking and a proactive mindset
