What will you be doing?
As a Project Buyer, you play a leading role within projects when it comes to sourcing project-specific components.
A key part of this role is ensuring delivery timelines, quality, and quantity requirements are met, while achieving the best balanced solution in terms of scope, quality, and cost.
In addition to your project-related responsibilities, which form the core of your role, you will manage your own purchasing categories. For these categories, you will develop category plans, negotiate and manage contracts, and ensure our projects are optimally supported.
Your responsibilities include:

Identify, evaluate, and qualify potential new suppliers within the project environment and negotiate supplier contracts.

Manage existing supplier relationships by monitoring, measuring, and evaluating performance in terms of quality, delivery, and quantity.

Drive process improvements, proactively provide recommendations, and contribute to the continued professionalization of our procurement department.

You bring:

Extensive experience working in a project-based environment and the ability to perform well under pressure.

Bachelor’s degree level (HBO) working and thinking ability, preferably in a technical or commercial field, supplemented with NEVI 1 certification.

Several years of experience as a Buyer, Procurement Specialist, or Category Manager.

Strong knowledge of procurement processes and contract management.

Affinity with technology and technical environments.
