Service Coordinator - Maritime

Drachten

Fulltime

€ 3700 - € 5500

Are you a true organiser with technical insight and a flair for customer contact? As a Service Coordinator at Alewijnse, you are the vital link between the client, shipyard, subcontractors, and colleagues. You ensure that service assignments run smoothly and that customers can set sail with peace of mind.

What will you be doing?

You’ll coordinate various service jobs for vessels in the Dredging, Offshore & Transport, and Marine & Governmental sectors. These can be planned tasks, but also warranty work or urgent requests such as breakdowns or repairs. Most of your time will be spent at the office, but you’ll also occasionally board ships or visit clients on site.

You ensure clear oversight and effective communication:

  • You liaise with clients and prepare the work

  • You guide the client and their team during service work and ensure a smooth collaboration

  • You coordinate warranty and maintenance work after delivery of the vessel

  • You advise colleagues and other stakeholders on maintaining quality

  • You keep everyone – both internally and externally – well informed

  • You prepare clear reports on planning, progress and expectations

You are the first point of contact for the client and can communicate quickly, clearly and with a customer focus.

What do we offer you?

At Alewijnse, you’ll be working in a world of technology, innovation, and variety. We believe in your growth and offer room for development, training, and appreciation for your efforts.

You can expect:

  • A salary between €3,700 and €5,500 (full-time)

  • Overtime paid or converted into time off

  • 25 holiday days and 13 ADV days, plus a solid pension via PMT

  • A company laptop and phone

  • Tailored training and development opportunities

  • Employment conditions in accordance with the Metal & Engineering Collective Labour Agreement (CAO)

And there’s more: through WeConnect, you stay connected with colleagues and the organisation. Think of sports events, our staff association, extras from our webshop, and a strong sense of team spirit.

Who are you?

You’re highly organised, solution-oriented, and understand what it means to be customer-focused. You have experience in a service-oriented role – ideally within the technical field. Experience with electrical systems on board ships is a bonus, but if you have strong technical skills and are eager to learn, we’ll be happy to support your further development.

What you bring:

  • An MBO level 4 diploma in Electrical Engineering (or similar)

  • Knowledge of maritime electrical systems (preferred)

  • Strong communication skills – both technical and commercial

  • A solution-driven, resilient attitude

  • Solid organisational skills and a sense of responsibility
