Technical Project Manager

Drachten

Fulltime

€ 4000 - € 7000

At Alewijnse, you take the lead in complex technical projects. You manage a team of engineers, ensure quality standards are met, and elevate the end result. Here, you’re given both the trust and the freedom to truly make a difference.

What will you be doing?

As a Technical Project Manager, you are the technical backbone of our projects. You lead engineers, monitor progress, and ensure that all activities align with client requirements and the project plan. You bring structure and drive results.

You’ll create a clear planning for engineering hours and deliverables, coordinate with suppliers and regulatory bodies, and maintain close communication with the client.

You’ll regularly be on-site for meetings with the customer. Throughout the process, you stay in contact with their technical team. During the installation phase, you are the key contact for the operations team regarding design and technical matters. Together with operations, you form the central team for the project.

Additionally, you will:

  • Resolve technical issues and bottlenecks, while proactively offering solutions

  • Work closely with internal departments such as procurement and work preparation

  • Prepare proposals for project changes (variations or additional work)

What do we offer you?

In our technical world, we take on large and challenging projects that offer plenty of room for professional growth. At Alewijnse, we reward passion and commitment! You can expect:

  • A gross monthly salary between €4,000 and €7,000

  • Tailored opportunities for training, development, and coaching

  • Terms of employment under the Dutch Metal & Engineering CAO, and a pension scheme via PMT

  • 25 holidays plus 13 ADV (reduction of working hours) days

  • A laptop and phone to support your role

  • Extras via our WeConnect platform: sports committee, staff association, online shop, and more

Who are you?

You have experience as a technical manager within industrial projects and thrive in a coordinating role. You keep the overview, make well-founded decisions, and communicate effectively with clients, your team, and internal departments.

You also bring:

  • A technical BSc (HTS) degree or equivalent working/thinking level

  • Strong organisational skills and a pragmatic approach

  • Confidence and leadership to steer the direction of projects

  • A sharp focus on quality and technical accuracy

  • Experience with hardware engineering and managing engineering teams
