What will you do?
As a Commissioning Engineer, you play a key role in delivering complex onboard systems. From home automation to satellite communication, you ensure every detail functions flawlessly. You’ll work both independently and in close cooperation with shipyard partners and colleagues.
Your responsibilities include:

Inspecting installations and identifying design or assembly issues

Functionally testing systems according to commissioning protocols

Implementing technical changes to installations or control systems

Documenting test results in clear reports

Carrying out IO tests and final inspections
You’ll work on superyachts featuring high-end systems such as LAN/WLAN, audio/video, lighting control, security, CCTV, and more. No two days are the same.

A full-time salary between €3,300 and €4,500

Who are you?
You have an eye for technology and a feel for client needs. You’re results-driven but keep the bigger picture in mind. You enjoy being part of a project team, take ownership, and can switch gears quickly when needed.
You bring:

An MBO or HBO diploma in Electrical Engineering or Embedded Software Engineering

Experience reading technical drawings, datasheets, and manuals

Knowledge of and experience with systems such as LAN, WLAN, AV, home automation, security, access control, and satellite communication

A proactive attitude and strong organisational skills
